3 West Ham Players Swansea Must Watch Out For This Weekend

Managerless Swansea City welcome Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United to the Liberty Stadium this weekend. If previous games between the two are anything to go by, this super Sunday clash has all the makings of being a real ding-dong battle in South Wales.

It’s a huge game for all concerned, with both sides looking to get back to winning ways. The Swans, who are obviously without a manager after parting ways with the popular Garry Monk after the 3-0 home defeat to Leicester City earlier in the month, haven’t won since beating Aston Villa 2-1 in late October.

Although West Ham’s form is much better than Swansea’s in recent weeks, the Hammers are also in desperate need of the three points. Since superbly seeing off Chelsea on the same day that the Swans beat Villa, Bilic’s troops have drawn four and lost two of their subsequent six games.

The last few times these two have gone head-to-head, they’ve been feisty affairs to say the least – this one is nicely poised for more of the same.

The Irons done some excellent transfer business in the summer, adding quality to an already very good squad. However, they will be without the influential Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini for their trip to Wales on Sunday.

Nevertheless, the east London club still have players who are more than capable of hurting the Swans – we take a look at three West Ham United players Swansea should be looking out for the most this weekend.
