Garry Monk’s Swansea City travel to Anfield this Sunday to take on Jurgen Klopp’s in-form Liverpool.
Both sides go into Sunday’s contest in a compete contrast of form. The Swans have tasted just one Premier League victory in nine, whilst the Reds have won their last five games out of six in all competitions.
Undoubtedly, since Klopp took over the managerial reigns in mid-October, the whole club seems to have had a massive lift, and the German is starting to stamp his authority at Anfield.
As for the Swans, Garry Monk’s side are in desperate need of some sort of reprieve. The only three points they’ve managed since late August was a somewhat fortuitous 2-1 win at bottom of the table Aston Villa at the end of last month.
Nevertheless, as they say in football, form is temporary, class is permanent – and Swansea still have the players within their ranks that can hurt Liverpool this weekend.
We take a look at three key battlegrounds in Sunday’s vital Premier League clash in Merseyside.
